Alan ‘Big Al’ Thomas is the man behind Wendy’s ice cream. Big Al comes up with all the delicious ice cream flavours that customers throughout Australia love to indulge in.

Big Al began the task of creating Wendy’s exclusive, quality products a few years ago and is very passionate about his job.

"When I was appointed, my brief was simple", Alan explained "I was told to make the best ice cream possible for Wendy's stores. All other considerations were secondary to the quality of the product."

Production

He’s the man behind Wendy’s very popular ‘Chocollo’- 99% Fat Free Chocolate Ice Cream. No one believed that such delicious ice cream could be 99% Fat Free but Big Al proved it could be achieved!

Tasty Flavours

Big Al has worked his way through the entire Wendy’s Ice Cream, Yoghurt and Sorbet range to ensure that each and every flavour was the best tasting it possibly could be.

He is now working on a range of new and exciting flavours which will feature in his ‘Flavour of the Month’ promotions.

New Products

If you think that would keep him busy enough, Big Al is also working on a range of new and exciting products that you’ll be lucky enough to sink your teeth into in the future!
