Do I have to work in the store?

Yes - Wendys stores are owner operated businesses and we require the nominated operator to work a minimum of 30 hours a week in the store. Wendys does not approve applicants simply looking for an investment - running a successful store takes time and commitment and we are looking for franchisees who love the Wendys brand just as much as we do.

What training do you offer?

Wendys offer a comprehensive 5 week training program. Weeks 1 and 2 are spent in an accredited franchisee training store in your state, where you'll learn about all things yum and how to operate a Wendys store. Week 3 is held at our National Support Office in Adelaide where you'll learn how to successfully operate your new business, including recruitment, local area marketing, financial management and more. Week 4 is spent back in the accredited franchisee training store ahead of the final week, which you'll spend in your very own store with your Regional Manager alongside you for support every step of the way.
